An ozone disinfection system is an integrated generator package for water sterilization, COD reduction, decolourization and deodorization in one automated unit. KONCHE systems corona-generate ozone at 1–200 g/h, dissolve it to 0.1–1.0 mg/L with venturi injection and 5–10 minutes of contact, and achieve ≥99.99% inactivation with COD reduction of 30–70% and decolourization of 80% or more. Residual ozone self-decomposes to oxygen within 20–30 minutes, so there is no chemical residue and no dechlorination step. Control is fully automatic under PLC with online ORP monitoring, a tail-gas destructor protects the workspace, and 316L or enamel dielectric construction handles pure-water, reuse and municipal duties. Built since 1997 with more than 500 clients served, the systems pair naturally with UV for combined continuous-plus-periodic disinfection, and every unit is customized to the project's water quality and flow.

Does ozone leave chemical residue?
Ozone decomposes back to oxygen. The treatment system still needs appropriate contact, monitoring and tail-gas control.
What is the difference between ozone and UV?
Ozone provides oxidation and disinfection in water, while UV primarily provides photochemical microbial inactivation. Many processes combine ozone and UV.
How is ozone output selected?
Selection uses water flow, COD, color, odor, microbial target, contact time, temperature and source-gas condition.
Can ozone be used in pure-water loops?
Yes. Ozone can disinfect pure-water storage and distribution, subject to the material, residual-ozone removal and validation requirements.
